Guildford Cathedral Abseil 2019 · 18 May 2019 ·

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

We are Oscar and Millie, cousins.  Our Grandpa has Parkinson’s which makes us sad, and we want to raise funds for research. We are hoping someone will find a cure to help everyone with Parkinson’s. We are both eight years old which means that we are old enough to abseil from the top of Guildford cathedral. It is 50 metres high! Our brother, sisters, cousins, aunties and Grandma (when she was 75) have all done it. We have been so annoyed that we couldn’t do it before and now we are FINALLY old enough. We are very pleased that our friend Scarlett is going to do it with us.
