As many of you will know I created #TeamMoule last year to raise money for Maggie’s Centre, Newcastle. We found Maggie’s to be a great support when my Father was diagnosed with Cancer in February 2017, they provide amazing practical and emotional support to those effected by Cancer.

Sadly in May 2017 my Dad suddenly passed away, leaving us as a family utterly heartbroken and lost without him. We chose to go ahead with our fundraising in memory of Dad raising just under 5,000.00.

This year we are hoping to raise more funds for Maggie’s Newcastle in memory of my Dad who I know would be so proud of us all.

#TeamMoule will be holding a ‘Cake & Cuppa Afternoon’ on June 10th, following that we will be hiking ‘THE BIG ONE’ a 23 mile challenge hitting 4 peaks in the Cheviots alongside our trusty four legged #TeamMoule members all in a day. Come September 9th 5 of us will be running Great North Run 2018 which in itself is a HUGE challenge. 

Maggies is a fantastic resource that I feel we are very fortunate to have in the North East. Fundraising is the lifeblood of Maggie’s & every penny we raise will go directly to help the centre continue their amazing work. They provide free practical, emotional and social support for people with cancer and their friends and family. 

#TeamMoule consists of a group of friends & family along with #TeamMouleJuniours and our four legged Moule’s.
