Story
Our mate Mark was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2014 and sadly died on 23rd April 2016, the day before the London marathon. Every time this race comes around our thoughts turn to memories of a dear friend, loving father & husband and of course a loyal Spurs fan. Over the past 5 years a group of us, known as Team Mark's Mates, have been fund-raising for Beating Bowel Cancer and now Bowel Cancer UK (the two charities merged in 2018 to create a more powerful force). Thanks to your generosity we have raised over £30,000 during this time. And we're back asking for more help in 2019 as we continue to run, bike, bake and do anything necessary to support the fight against the UK's second biggest cancer killer. Thanks for any donations, no matter how small. They all count and they are all appreciated by Dave, Nic and Russell.
Bowel Cancer UK are the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care. We’re here to stop people dying of bowel cancer.
