Story

Hi all.

Thanks for checking out our page!

This team has been created in memory of Mark Schubert - a dear brother / cousin / friend.
Mark suffered a stroke in January 2011 at the age of 18. He fought bravely in hospital for months, but sadly he passed away in September 2011 due to other health problems.

Last year fundraising in his memory began, and this year the team has grown. We will be taking on the Royal Parks Half Marathon and the Resolution Run in distances of 5k,10k or 15k

We are all pushing ourselves to raise money for the wonderful Stroke Association, who everyday provide support and advice to people like Mark and their families. Mark made some amazing friends in hospital, and we would love to think the money we raise will go to helping people like them. We will be thinking of Mark every step of the way, and also everyone we know who has been affected by stroke.  Every donation, big or small, will mean the world to us.

Don't forget to leave your name / a message so we can say thankyou and let you know how we get on!
