Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We - Iain Irvine, Katie Buchanan, Ronan Wilson and Naomi Buchanan  - are taking part in Lap the Map because the Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity does fantastic work that deserves to have awareness and money raised so that they can continue to do so.

Lap the Map is a virtual race between Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity and Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity supporters, to see who can cover the full distance of the Scottish coastline and border - all 10,007km of it - first!

Our Auntie (Ann Irvine) worked in Theatre at Yorkhill for years so we are helping her get some miles in and to add to the Team Scrubs effort.
Having an operation can be a daunting time for children and their families and the theatre team strive to do everything they can to make this journey as easy as possible for the families involved. They are passionate about providing the best care they can, in as comforting an environment as possible.

We are tracking all our miles on Strava and hoping to help Team Glasgow beat Team Edinburgh to the 10,007km mark!
