Story
I, Jo sadly lost my 13 year old son to osteosarcoma in September 2014. Luis fought a courageous battle for 15 months, having went through horrendous chemotherapy, loss of his fibula and part of his lung. Even though he was going through a horrendous time he always had a beautiful smile on his face. To help me cope with my grief I took up running with my dear friend, Andrea. We started our journey back in September 2015 and haven't looked back since. We have completed 10k races, 5 half marathons and thought the icing on the cake would be to complete the London Marathon and raise much needed funds for Sarcoma, in the hope that one day there will be a cure and no child will have to go through what Luis did. Thank you so much for visiting my page and donating to a much needed cause.
Thank you for visiting my page.I’m supporting Sarcoma UK, the only cancer charity in the UK focused on all types of sarcoma. Sarcoma is a cancer of the bone and soft tissue. It is one of the hardest to diagnose, and difficult to treat. We can help change this. By donating to my page, you will fund vital research projects looking for better treatments. Your donation will also raise awareness of the symptoms of sarcoma to help patients get an early diagnosis, and ensure everyone has access to specialist advice.Thank you for your support.
