Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.  I am aiming to raise awareness and support for the Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Charity (SANDS), specifically the Bedfordshire SANDS group who have assisted some very close friends of mine during very hard times. It is a very worth while cause which supports any person affected by the death of a baby. The Bedfordshire SANDS are progressing with some amazing projects including a Bereavement Garden in Bedfordshire, Memory Boxes for hospitals and training for support nurses and photographers.

To this end, I am running the Great Ocean Road Marathon in Victoria, Australia. This 45km marathon (longer than a regular marathon due to the distance between nearest towns) is touted as not only one of the most arduous but one of the most scenic endurance runs in the world.  The route begins at the seaside town of Lorne and terminates in Apollo Bay.

So anything donated is much appreciated and if you want more for your buck - I hope to establish a live hook up at the time of the run to allow updates, progress and maybe even real time chat for both UK and Aus supporters!
