*BE THE CHANGE*

As part of our gruelling Mount Kilimanjaro trek either this June (travel permitted), or early next year, Team LiVe, that’s myself Haroon, Idris and Shuhel have partnered with Human Appeal UK this Ramadan to be partof a project that plans to feed 3500 + people/500 families across 8 countries that are suffering with poverty.  

I hope if you are reading this, you've already decided to maximise this month by helping as many people as possible.

One in every nine people will go to bed hungry this Ramadan.That’s over 820 million people who don’t have enough food to eat, and that’s
before we consider the current food scarcity hitting people across the globe.To a hungry family struggling to find food for Iftar and Suhur, one simple donation can be a lifeline. Now is the time to give!

One donation of £70 can make a difference to a family this Ramadan in Bangladesh, Iraq, Pakistan, Palestine, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Lebanon and Yemen. 

Insha'Allah, the Human Appeal teams will be on the ground throughout Ramadan distributing food packs to the neediest. So your donations are in safe hands. Please do keep my social media in sight to see where your donations are going. 

Each food parcel is tailored to the local country and dietary needs, but on average they contain 60-70 kilograms of nutritious food and will provide a family of up to seven for the whole month with enough essential and nutritious food such as: 

• Rice • Sugar • Salt • Flour • Chickpeas • Lentils • Tea bags 

 • Milk powder • Pasta • Dates • 5 litres of oil 

The Prophet Muhammad PBUH said: "Whoever gives food to a fasting person to break his fast, shall have his sins forgiven, and he will be saved from the Fire of Hell, and he shall have the same reward as the fasting person, without his reward being diminished at all."

How can you make a difference: 

£70 will provide 1 family with a food parcel for the entire month. 

£140 will provide 2 families with food parcels for the entire month. 

£210 will provide 3 families with food parcels for the entire month. 

This project is Zakat eligible.
