Danny King was one of the bravest people I have known. He battled cancer head on and showed great strength and dignity. Anyone who knows Sinead, Sadie, Jackson, Marcie and Tilda will understand just how much they have been through and how they pulled together as a family and continued making memories and loving life right until Danny died on the 29th January 2021.

Sinead, Ammi and I had decided to walk round the Isle of Wight last year. Danny and Sinead talked about the charity we should support and chose for us to fundraise for The Christie due to the research they are doing specifically into melanoma, which includes groundbreaking immunotherapy treatments, which Danny himself trialled. 

Sinead has taken part in many challenge events, with Danny supporting her all the way, he always believed in her even at the toughest of times. He was so very proud of her and her achievements and how she inspired so many. 

So we are walking 100km around the Isle of Wight in memory of the most amazing husband, father, son, brother and friend who we will miss so very much and will live in our hearts and memories forever.
