As Emily’s mom I couldn’t be more proud about the way she has tackled this year with so much determination. When we got the news after all the months of Emily fighting for a diagnosis to be honest we were all just devastated, this is not the news you ever want to hear. To see the amazing support that Emily was given by her amazing group of friends and her beautiful family was inspiring. 

Emilys’ latest scan shows she is all clear, but she has also been diagnosed with Lynch syndrome so we move on to the next steps. 

I am doing this challenge because we need to stop other families going through what we have, and as Emily says don’t give up if you feel things are not right with YOUR body. Keep fighting.
