Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Jim Harding passed away from Pancreatic Cancer in February 2015 aged just 37. Throughout his 14month illness Jim never let his diagnosis stop him from living life to the full and has inspired many of his friends and family to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer  UK.

His wife, Fiona, turns 30 in October 2016 and has chosen to dedicate the year to raise as much money as possible for the charity. She has devised 30 challenges to undertake throughout the year and has roped in friends to complete each challenge with her..........Team Jim!!!!

The challenges vary wildly. Among them we will be completing a marathon, climbing the London O2, cycling 100miles, walking 28miles and most difficult of all.....the salad haters will be eating a whole plate of rocket.

We will be completing the Colour Run Qatar in January as part of Fiona's challenges.

Thank you so much for all your donations.

It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.
