Story

In December this year we are competing in the Woodvale Atlantic Rowing Race 2009. The race is the ultimate test of strength and endurance, seeing competitors rowing 2,500 nautical miles taking on the mighty Atlantic waves and surf, nonstop and unsupported using only their own power, usually taking around 60-70 days to complete for a two man crew.

The race is described as not only being the world's toughest rowing race but also one of the toughest human physical and mental endurance challenges on Earth.

By doing the race we will be helping to raise money for a fantastic charity that is close to both of our hearts, We Are Macmillan Cancer Support.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
