Story

We are a group of Jane's friends and family running The Bolt 2016  race in memory of Jane, who sadly passed away after a short battle with Bowel Cancer in May 2015. We are raising funds for GUTS which is a local Guildford based bowel cancer charity which does a lot of excellent work with the Royal Surrey County Hospital where Jane spent a lot of time whilst being ever so sick.

Jane was a very much loved wife, mummy, daughter, sister, niece, aunty, cousin and friend who touched so many people's lives. Jane loved sport, she played hockey, tennis, was a school swimming champion, and ran for many charity events. When not on the sports field Jane loved socialising, she would frequently be seen singing into a bottle of Corona with her friends!

We felt this event would be a really fitting way to remember Jane and get many of the original Team Jane together who raised such a fantastic amount for Cancer Research last year.

Jane, we love you and miss you so much. We will remember you forever.
