If you had told us a few years ago that we would be taking on a mud filled obstacle course (Rachel in particular) we would have laughed and told you where you go.... but since Luna has come into our life we have ditched our heels in favour of hiking boots (Nick too) and embraced the great outdoors -  mainly just trying to wear out the slightly more energetic than expected Luna!  When we heard about the muddy dog challenge therefore, something that would combine Luna's favourite activity agility, with a 5km run for us and an opportunity to get absolutely covered head to toe in mud we thought why not!!  

The fact that we also get to support a charity, that as life long dog lovers, is very close to our hearts is obviously a driving factor and we would love it if all of our family and friends can dig deep and support us - not to mention Battersea; a charity that does so much for our 4 legged friends, reuniting lost animals and owners, rehabilitating the abused and abandoned and rehoming those that are in need of a loving home (that the spoilt and overpampered Princess Luna takes very much for granted, and rightly so!). 

The level of care the animals receive during their time at Battersea is just phenomenal and it has to be funded from somewhere.  Therefore we are begging and pleading everyone to sponsor us doing this crazy muddy 5k with our four legged fur baby.... 

And in return we will be posting some rather unattractive pics of us covered in mud and looking like we have been dragged through a hedge backwards - which is more or less what's going to happen....
