Take on one of Tour de Manc's four distances in support of Royal Manchester Children's Hospital Charity! Can you go the distance for our young patients this April!

Story

the second and final challenge this year, Adam, Jon, Mahinda and Matt are sharing the fear as team ‘gentlemanly does it’ – in the Knutsford Great Race: https://knutsfordgreatrace.com/ on 9th September 2023.

This is the World Championships of penny farthing racing, attracting riders from across the globe. These bikes are not for the faint hearted with no brakes, 5- 6ft seating position above the ground and race speeds of 20+mph. The team are fundraising for the amazing Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital – the UK’s largest children’s hospital, and funds will support the incredible Manchester Kidsdiglabz & research and innovation programmes. Spectators are welcome and the event is free to watch.

Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital is internationally recognised as a leader in children’s research and ground-breaking treatments for cancer, endocrinology, nephrology, child and adolescent mental health, metabolic growth disorders and rare conditions. Please take a moment to access the links and hear more from children, families and the RMCH clinical teams.

In addition to supporting world leading research, your donations will contribute towards the introduction of new VR equipment for distraction and anxiety management for young children and also used in advanced clinical training and simulation for doctors, nurses and other health professionals.
