Story

Type 1 diabetes has a huge impact on the daily lives of both Type 1s and their families. On the practical side is the multiple daily finger pricks, injections and carb counts, constantly analysing how the body responds to different foods. On the emotional side is the fear, fear of a hypo which can lead to seizures or comas and the highs that will cause damage to her tiny organs. Insulin keeps her alive but is not a cure, diabetes UK fund research into new treatments and cures to better the lives of people with diabetes, thank you for your support
