Story

On Sunday April 2nd 2023, Travis, Scott & Farrell will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon raising money for the National Autistic Society & more specifically on behalf of Freddie.

The National Autistic Society is a charity close to our hearts as Travis' son Freddie was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) shortly after his 3rd Birthday. For anyone who has ever met Freddie, you will know he is one of the happiest, most affectionate and loving kids you could ever meet. However, day to day life can be challenging for Freddie and all people with ASD. Our goal is to raise money and awareness for the National Autistic Society who help children, adults and support families with ASD.

As a parent, getting confirmation that your child has ASD can be overwhelming and difficult to get your head around. The National Autistic Society was such a great help to myself and my wife Hannah and offered a wide range of information and support. The National Autistic Society help run specialist schools, campaign for improved rights and are dedicated to transforming lives and changing attitudes when it comes to Autism. "Some people with Autism may not be able to speak, but they hear your words and feel your kindness".

The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.
