Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm trying (as part of TeamFoundation) to raise £20000 in one year for Together For Short Lives. We've been personally so inspired by customers & colleagues we've met through work over the last 9 years -not to mention friends & family - that we want to give something back as a thankyou.

The first challenge is this one: I WILL do a tandem skydive from around 14000ft on 28th July 2012.

As most of you who know me personally, you will know that I have an absolute fear of flying (used to be ok-ish but now cry from moment of seeing airport until landing and basically jusdt avoid it at all costs) but I have an even worse fear of heights (including escalators -I cry on the Selfridges ones in London & the John Lewis ones in Birmingham) - took son to ThinkTank on Thursday and could not figure out a panic free way to descend as clear glass lifts or scaffolding stairs where you can see 3 levels down.......I guess at least I won't see a spider at 14000ft????

I am also marking my 40th birthday 4 days before this and I can't now decide which is more scary. HELP!!!!!!!!!

In all seriousness PLEASE help me raise as much money as possible for Together For Short Lives AND DONATE NOW.

THANKYOU (and if you want to join in with our future TeamFoundation events -no skydiving!- and challenge yourself with the encouragement of basically having a good giggle whilst raising cash for Together For Short Lives please get in touch!)

Thanks again,

Gemma xxxxx
