I lost my lovely mum in March, one week àfter her 73rd birthday. Only 6 weeks previously we found out that her cancer had returned. My dad and I were completely unprepared, both emotionally and practically for what took place during that short time

Macmillan nurses were there for us in a way that would be difficult to put into words. 24hrs a day we could, and did, rely on them to help us look after mum.

The only way I know how to say thank you to them is to raise money, so they can keep being there for all the families who need them.
