“Currently experiencing a second wave (or possibly third - it's hard to tell) mid-life crisis which mostly involves learning Spanish, drinking wine and playing guitar. I try to avoid too much physical exertion. On the plus side I will make the rest of you look fast”
Although it's 15 months, since the start of the pandemic the emergency appeal remains open and is carrying on in earnest as there is so much more we want to do to help.
In addition to welfare packages provided for staff working on the frontline, donations have already been used to buy a range of furniture, soft furnishings and white goods for the wellbeing rooms, which give staff a quiet space to rest and reflect.
We made sure your donations reached people quickly, and they were invested in areas where they would have the biggest impact.
We are making sure your donations reached people quickly. We have been able to invest in areas where they would have the biggest impact. Of all the items and services funded by our charity, we are particularly proud to have supported the 32 new wellbeing rooms (affectionately named wobble rooms) which are now established across our Trust.
