UPDATE: We made it. Have added a few photos so you can see how we got on. Thanks very much to everyone who has donated...

June the 19th is Fathers’ Day in the UK. To celebrate it Ernest and Rob Edmonds, father and son, will be in the British Heart Foundation London to Brighton Bike Ride. That’s 54 miles (87K). It’s 54 miles that Ernest rode (actually there and back, so 108 miles) most Sundays a long long time ago. To even out the 30 year age gap Rob will be riding from Belper (Derbyshire) during the 2 days before the ride—arriving a little worse for wear at the London to Brighton start line. We're supporting the British Heart Foundation, so please sponsor us and encourage this Fathers’ Day ride to the sea.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer.
