We all had a great run and day out. Paul set a new personal best for a 10k of 45:45. In the 1.5k fun run, Harry (with Paul) did 07:30 and Daniel (with Katharine) did 09:25.

We are aiming to raise as much money as possible for the Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity by taking part in the Great Yorkshire Run on Sunday 9th October 2011. Harry (5), Daniel (3), Paul and Katharine are running the Great Yorkshire Mini Run. Paul is also running the Great Yorkshire Run!

Why? When our son Daniel was 2 months old, he contracted RSV, Bronchiolitis, Rotavirus and Pneumococcal at the same time. He was taken to Sheffield Children’s Hospital where he was under sedation on a ventilator in the intensive care unit for several days as he was just too young to cope with it all on his own.

The care and attention shown to Daniel and ourselves from all the staff at the hospital was amazing.
