We’re going to be taking part in some “Teddy Bears Picnic” themed events during August to raise money for Cancer Support groups, including: • Pink Sisters in Stoke • Maggie’s in Manchester • The Georgina Unit at Russell’s Hospital, Dudley We’d love everyone to join in the fun and make a donation to their preferred charity - You can share the links – and the fun - with family and friends too, the more the merrier. On 14th August, Bev will be running a “Teddy Bear Relay”. It will involve running 8 X 2 mile laps near her home, carrying a Baton (aka Teddy Bear) which will be exchanged after each lap. This will be swiftly followed by a Teddy Bears Picnic. On 15th August, Nadya and Jo U will be hosting a teddy bear sports day, taking inspiration from the Olympics (though may not be to the same standard) Or if this all sounds a bit too energetic, maybe just skip straight to the Teddy Bears Picnic – or even just the picnic – and make a donation. Jo W is hosting her own Teddy Bears themed Picnic, we’re not sure how many bears will be attending yet but there WILL be wine!
