Story
This is it: the BIG one. A full marathon. My second mountain to climb.
I've always wanted to tackle a marathon, but self-doubt has prevented me from taking on the challenge. Until now. The events of the past 12 months have proved that we are all stronger than we may have given ourselves credit for before - and we shouldn't put off our goals and realising our dreams.
Running a marathon is my 'bucket list' challenge.
That's why, this Sunday 3rd October, alongside Nathan and Jo from Digital Wonderlab, I'm running all 26.2 miles of the virtual London Marathon for the Charlie Waller Trust - one of the UK's most respected mental health charities and an organisation that I'm very happy to work with and support professionally.
Mental health support, education and training has never been more vital, and as we begin to transition and move towards 'new normal' life after our worlds have been flipped upside down, charities like the Charlie Waller Trust will need great support to be able to keep delivering their essential services to help those sorely in need.
