Story
On the 17th of March 2019 Charlie Joseph Day was born ... it should have been a celebratory time for his parents and family and friends however Charlie's heart had unexpectedly stopped beating before he was due to meet this world.
In memory of Charlie and all those parents that have gone through and may go through a similar experience in the future with babies and young children, we have decided to enter 2 teams of 4 in a Race against the Sun. A 3 consecutive event challenge all taking place on the same day up in the Lake District.
We are looking to test ourselves and our limited fitness and to also raise money for Action Medical Research who are a leading UK charity funding vital research to help defeat the diseases that devastate the lives of sick and disabled babies, children and young people.
As 2 teams of 4, we are taking part in this extremely tough dawn to dusk event where we will cycle, hike and canoe to raise money for this incredible cause. With your help, we're determined to make a real difference to other family and children's lives.
We would ask you to give whatever you can in support of this cause.
