Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please sponsor me online - do it now.

I'm competing in the 2005 Woodvale Atlantic Rowing Race with my crewmate Chris Andrews. I have chosen to raise funds for the National Autistic Society (NAS), Chris is supporting the Parkinson's Disease Society.

As many of you will know my son Merlin is a high functioning autistic child. Merlin is a happy and eccentric boy - full of fun, great company, and loved dearly by all who meet him. Other children and adults aren't so blessed and the NAS exists to champion the rights and interests of all people with autism and to ensure that they and their families receive quality services appropriate to their needs.

You can find more information on what Chris and I plan to achieve through our website - http://www.rowatlantic.org.uk

You can support our effort either by sponsoring us through our website to support our challenge (we have project costs of around £50,000) or by direct contribution to the charities through this site. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most tax efficient way to make a charitable donation: the National Autistic Society will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. So please sponsor me now! Many thanks for your support. Clint

The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.
