Over two years ago our son, Hugh's journey began....

In 2016 Hugh was diagnosed with a bilateral sensorineural and conductive hearing loss.

It has been identified as genetically linked and therefore thought too have been present from birth.

Because of the delay in diagnosis Hugh was severely delayed in all aspects of Speech & Language development. This has had a huge detrimental effect on his social, behavioral and emotional skills.

With regular help from a team of dedicated professionals Hugh has made steady progress. 

Hugh's journey hasn't been easy or straightforward and the challenges he faces on a daily basis are never easy; the support and guidance we have received and continue to recieve from NDCS has been invaluable.

We want Hugh too achieve everything he needs too achieve and we are confident with ongoing support from everyone involved with Hugh's care, he certainly will.

Our beautiful boy is amazing and wonderful, inside and out.
