Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are a team of 4 taking part in this event which consists of the following

PEDAL 30 miles in total.
The cycle element of the event is split into two identical stages. Stage one will take you from our
event base in Newbiggin to Glenridding, where you’ll begin the Paddle element of the challenge.
Stage two will be the same Pedal route back from the base of Helvellyn after you’ve completed
your Peak.

PADDLE 2 miles. After arriving at Glenridding, you’ll get off your bikes and get into your four-person canoe. Get ready to work your upper body for the Paddle element of the challenge!

PEAK. This will be the toughest part of the challenge. After the Paddle, you’ll get changed into your trek gear to climb up and down the magnificent Helvellyn Mountain. Distance 6.8 miles. This will be the total of the climb up and down Helvellyn. The climb will involve going to the top of Helvellyn via the ‘white side’ and ‘lower man’ of the mountain.
