Just over 26 years ago when our oldest daughter was born, she had to spend her first 12 days of life under the care of the wonderful staff in the Trevor Mann Baby Unit (TMBU) at the Royal Sussex County Hospital. Without their intervention, she wouldn't be here today.

Whilst taking part in this event last year as part of our training for the South Coast Ultra Challenge, we were fortunate to meet with, and talk to, Hannah Seltzer from Rockinghorse and this gave us the idea for whom to focus our fundraising efforts for 2019 towards.Below is some information about this event.

Run 5.30 is a 5K run/walk that takes place in Brighton town centre at 5.30am before a business day.The experiential event promotes an active lifestyle with a combination of daily physical activity and a balanced diet.The aim is to help increase the wellness of the people in the town they live and work, whilst delivering a sustainable event with zero environmental impact.In every city they go to, they choose to support a local charity. In Brighton, they're proud to support Sussex-based children's charity Rockinghorse.
