Story
A lot of you will know that earlier this year I ran The Spine Sprint and started my pledge to raise money for Bigmoose. that in itself was a big jump for me with regard to running distance but now I'm planning something even bigger and more challenging for the same great cause.
On 2-6th November I will be joining Lewis Robling and a group of 18 others as we run 250Km in 5 days, that is 50K a day, camping overnight for the full duration.
To say I’m nervous is an understatement. Those of you who run ultras will know that there are always dark moments and I’m ready for this because mine will be temporary unlike those individuals that suffer from clinical mental health conditions, where the dark days often lead to spiralling low mood, intrusive thoughts and a loss of hope.
The services Bigmoose have available and personally touched my heart and supported a loved one and I can’t really thank them enough. My run is just a small opportunity to ensure we can keep these services going.
In the meantime, please please leave me a message and make a small donation- link on my bio. Your support is what is going to help me maintain momentum in early November.
