We are taking part in the annual midnight walk to help raise money towards the running of an extremely worthy cause. Our lovely friend and Mother Beverley McKinnell has been staying at the Sam Beare Hospice in Weybridge for a couple of months now and they have helped make an extremely difficult time bearable, for both Bev and her friends and family. The care and understanding of the Doctors and Nurses has been immense and has certainly helped prolong Beverley's life. The hospice has provided the support for Bev along with her amazing strength and will to live long enough to see her youngest daughter Olivia go to her Prom at the end of this month. Beverley was given a prognosis of 'about 6 months' at the end of March 2009 and here she is in June 2010, what an inspiration to us all. Let's hope Bev gets her wish and also sees Olivia on her Sixteenth Birthday on the 2nd of July. To say 'Thankyou' to the Hospice staff seems insignificant, the least we can do is try to raise some funds to help keep this vital facility in our community. Your support will be gratefully recieved.
