Our RNLI lifeboats in the South West protect hundreds of communities through our 24-hour search and rescue service. They rely on the safest, most reliable lifeboats and modern stations to launch from.

Story

Betty Stogs  and her team are taking on the Challenge of rowing a raft from Truro to Falmouth on Sunday 18th October in aid of her favorite charities - the RNLI and the Children's Hospice South West .

The raft has been designed to ensure it meets all safety requirements including social distancing.

Betty has supported the RNLI for many years and the money raised from this challenge will help support the work of the Lifeboats in the South West and in particular Falmouth Lifeboat Station.

Like all charities the RNLI has been significantly impacted by Covid-19 but despite this it has managed to maintain a 24-hour search and rescue service. The RNLI relies on donations from you the public to continue saving lives at sea and with your support they will always be there to answer that call.
