Story
I'm doing the Spectrum Night Walk this World Autism Acceptance Week to help change attitudes, to transform lives and create a society that works for autistic people.
My friend Kyle was diagnosed as being autistic earlier this year. Many people, like Kyle, go undiagnosed for decades due to difficulties in accessing diagnosis, false stereotyping and misunderstanding what being autistic actually means.
Additionally, it is even more challenging for females to get an accurate diagnosis. As a result, these unique and beautiful individuals end up suffering in silence.
Kyle has strong armed a couple of us (sort of against our will) to venture 10k (on a dodgy hip!) through the London streets at night to help support the National Autistic Society and the amazing work they do. I would be very grateful if you would sponsor me to help support this worthwhile cause - every single donation makes a significant difference :)
Thanks so much for all your support and generosity.
