Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.  We are raising money for Sands, a neonatal charity, in memory of Dan and Amanda’s son Edward, who would have been 10 this year. Kerry is a great friend and is both cheerleader and fellow hiker - ok so she is definitely the more experienced member of the team as she has actually climbed numerous mountains before!

Through personally benefitting from the care and support that Sands provide, we feel it’s even more important to give back. It’s often not until you are in a desperate situation that you know Charities like this exist, so the pool of supporters isn’t as large as it is for more widely known charities.   Five years ago we hiked along the Thames path for 25kms, and raised over £4000 - this year we are hoping to break that target, and have raised the bar a bit by including a significant incline and a head torch! Climbing Snowdon in the dark will be a challenge!

We are  self funding the hike so every penny you are able to donate will go straight to SANDS.
