Story
Thanks for visiting my page. I'm raising money for the British Heart Foundation's research and I'd be so grateful for your support.
A few years ago I took part in a charity cycle ride as part of my #40b440 challenge and got the bug! Two years ago, me and my group of merry maidens formed #TeamBadInfluences and, in 2016 raised over £3000 for British Heart Foundation cycling the 54 miles from London to Brighton, and then in 2017, raised £2700 for Action Medical Research cycling 68, yes 68 miles(!) around the Sussex Downs.
The London to Reading ride has become a staple in my riding calendar now as a warm up to bigger events in the Summer - this is my third attempt and this time, I'd like to get PBs all the way!
The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £25 could pay for an hour of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target.
Thanks xx
