Story
On 28th January 2018, Theo was diagnosed very suddenly with Leukaemia. He was admitted to Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) where he was swept up by a team of amazing doctors, nurses and staff who continue to look after him.
We are taking part in the "RBC Race for the Kids" so that more families may experience the exceptional care we never imagined we would need.
'Team Teddy' now includes nearly 100 of Theo's family and friends Alice, Kristof, Sasha, Theo and Louisa Bulkai and the de Mare, Wilkinson, Parker, Mackay, Monti, Percudani, Wegelius, Giles, Barlow, Clemente-Ansell, Cunningham, Porter, Pickering, Gaskell, Forbes, Bunce, Remoundos, Thornhill, Levinson-Hawes, Goumal, Ooms, Courts, Oss, Sadovska, Primrose, MCGourty, Tovey, Espinosa-Aceves, Orr, Chiswell and Corlett families.
We are enormously grateful to you all for your unfailing support, enthusiasm and generosity. Thank you.
Every day, 619 children and young people from across the UK arrive at the hospital. The money raised from "RBC Race for the Kids" will help to fund ground-breaking research; advanced equipment; child and family support services and the rebuilding and refurbishment of wards and medical facilities.
Over the last 10 years "RBC Race for the Kids" has raised an incredible £5 million for the hospital. In celebration of the 10th anniversary, Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity are hoping to raise £1 million from this year’s event. With your support we can get there.
