We are moving further, faster to help everyone affected by a brain tumour

Story

My mam was diagnosed with a stage 4 brain tumour in September 2014.  Without surgery she was only given 3-6 months to live, with surgery 12-18 months.  The surgeon managed to remove most of the tumour with no massive side effects for mam.  She then underwent rounds of chemo and radiotherapy to try to keep the cancer from returning.  We were told the devastating news just before Christmas 2015 that the tumour has returned and spread with no option for another surgery.

Mam has fought this bloody awful disease with dignity, humility and with all her family and friends behind her every step of the way.

I want to raise as much as possible to help fund research into brain tumours to try to eradicate them off the face of the planet!   This year I will be taking part in many challenges which include cycling the coast to coast, running the pier to pier, the blaydon race, the great north run and my first ever marathon in October.
