We had a fab time in Portsmouth and were all very pleased with our times.  Paul was the first of our team to finish in 1hr 22 mins with Jason only a few minutes behind in 1hr 28.  Deb and Julie crossed the line together in 1hr 37mins.

Thanks to all who have donated on line and also to work colleagues who have sponsored - hard part now to collect in all that sponsorship but once done we will have exceeded our £400.00 target.  So a big thank you.

Running for the Get Kids Going team meant that we could all cheer each other on along the way, and even have a chat with fellow Get Kids Going runners.

Get Kids Going! is a National charity which gives disabled children and young people - up to the age of 26 yrs - the wonderful opportunity of participating in sport.

They help promote sports for disabled children by providing them with specially built sports’ wheelchairs so they can do marathons, triathlons, tennis, athletics, mountain skiing, rugby, basketball etc. Get Kids Going! also helps and encourages British disabled children to compete by supporting them with their sports; training, physiotherapy, travel, design and development of sports’ wheelchairs. With your help many could become record holders and Paralympic champions!
