The 2.6 Challenge is a simple and fun way for everyone to do their bit to help save the UKs charities.

Story

Based at the Tommy’s stillbirth Centre in Manchester we see the difference that Tommy’s funding makes to families.

We are a group of midwives, doctors and research practitioners committed to reducing stillbirth. Everyday in the UK 8 babies are stillborn.  Funding from Tommy’s enables us to carry out important research which helps us to reduce stillbirth and stop more families experiencing the devastating death of a baby. Tommy’s also fund our specialist clinics; The Manchester Placenta Clinic and The Rainbow Clinic. Everyday the families we care for tell us how important the clinics are to them.

We want to support Tommy’s to support us to continue to care for families and end preventable stillbirth.

Save the UK's CharitiesGeneral fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.
