London South Bank University & Institute of Directors £10 Challenge, 6 February 2020
London South Bank University students working with the Institute of Directors to support Centrepoint in helping give homeless young people a future

Story

The Sweet Rainbow team is a group of university students who wants to share more love by taking part in the £10 challenge with LSBU and the Institute of Directors to raise money for Centrepoint.

Centrepoint is the UK's leading youth homelessness charity, supporting more than 15,000 homeless 16-25-year-olds every year. Their aim is to ensure that every young person leaves Centrepoint with skills, a job and a home of their own. Centrepoint research estimates 103,000 young people in the UK asked for help from their local council in 2017/18 because they were homeless or at risk of homelessness.

To raise money, we will be holding a bake sale with homemade cookies (see pictures below for examples of cookies we will be selling) at LSBU on Wednesday, 19th of February 2020, in the Student Life Centre, between 08:00am - 12:30pm. All the money will be given to Centrepoint!

We would like to encourage everyone to share more love, especially around Valentines! All donations - big or small - are encouraged to make a difference.
