Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

MotoNovo’s South Coast sales team are embarking on the gruelling London to Brighton Bike ride on 19th June riding 54 miles each to raise money for SPRING.

Please see one of the teams story's below:

'My chosen charity is SPRING who have helped myself and many others through some very distressing times.  I haven't ridden a bike for 15 years before February this year so this challenge is going to be a tough one.  The cause is a great one and very close to my heart so this will be powering me through the dark times when I'm sure I will want to quit.  Please can you sponsor me anything you can to make this achievement worthwhile.  The charity are absolutely amazing and anything I can give back to them for what they helped me through will be greatly appreciated.'

Each team member has been training through winter and spring along with working out how to put on their Lycra ready for the ride.

The individuals taking part are:

Charlotte Jenkins, Darren Halley, James Spencer, Jemma Pinfield-wells, Matthew Lucas & Nina Middleton

SPRING was established in 1998 to provide support to parents and relatives who have experienced the death of a baby during pregnancy, at, or just after birth. This includes miscarriage, stillbirth and termination for foetal abnormality. Over the years SPRING has evolved to help many families and friends through such devastating times.SPRING is part of University Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity (Registered Charity Number 1057366) and is overseen by a steering group which includes bereaved parents and caring, committed professionals all of whom are passionate about SPRING and matters surrounding baby loss. We are based at St. Marys Maternity Unit at Poole Hospital and cover Bournemouth, Poole and surrounding areas. The aim of SPRING is to support through grief at the point of loss, delivery and beyond. SPRING works closely with medical professionals to help provide a high level of care to bereaved families, alongside regular NHS services.
