To celebrate going back on tour, I was planning on shaving my lockdown ponytail for the homeless charity Crisis.

Then people offered to donate more if I kept the hair, so I made two JustGiving pages: #TeamShave and #TeamPonytail.

You lovely people flooded in with donations, raising £465 for #TeamShave.

But it was a mistake. It was supposed to be a bit of fun but I’m not having fun anymore - I no longer resent the hair, it’s part of me so I’ve decided to keep it.

I feel bad that people donated to #TeamShave expecting me to do this, so now I need your help: if you're able, please donate to #TeamPonytail to help keep my hair, and more importantly change the lives of homeless people who are having the worst time right now due to COVID.
