Story
Last year Team PLF were able to give to our chosen charities of Bliss and St Johns hospice a cheque for £525 each. As well as this a further £525 went to the Extra mile's core charities who benefit from the efforts of all the teams who sign up to the event. A bit of a result all round and the money will have gone towards doing great things for each group.
Bliss provide care and support for premature and sick babies and their families.
St Johns hospice are a Sue Ryder palliative care team who look after cancer patients and are based in Moggerhanger near Bedford.
The aim this year is to do more of the same but in Brittany.
Extra Mile cyclists complete our challenges for fun but with a greater purpose. Every year Extra Milers raise thousands of pounds for charities - the first 14 challenges have raised £1.4 million which has been donated to in excess of 250 different charities. Every pound received by Extra Mile Challenges will go to charity without any deduction for administrative costs.
