Story
The Mouth Cancer Foundation exists to raise awareness and support for mouth cancer. The charity endeavours to promote, protect, educate and support the public. Informing people on the signs, symptoms, risk factors, facts and figures and key causes of mouth cancer is extremely important, and something which the charity is very passionate about. There are over 8300 new cases of mouth cancer in the UK each year. 2722 lives are lost each year. World wide the disease affects 650,000 people per year.
We are doing this in memory of Naran Harsiani, a loving Husband, Dad, Son, Brother, Uncle, Brother in Law and Grandad.
7 years ago we lost our Daddy to mouth/ tongue cancer. It was one of the hardest things we had to encounter. He was a brave man, who fought hard and showed us to never give up; when things got tough.
Mouth cancer is a subject that is very close to our heart. During his fight with cancer, Daddy lost half of his tongue and struggled to speak and explain what he wanted. However, we still have a voice and we would really appreciate it if you can all dig deep and donate as little or as much as you can.
We will be doing the walk on 1st November 2020..You are more than welcome to do the walk too...Do it wherever you like, and with whoever you like.
Thank you.
