Story
Dad and I are completing the Male Trail in memory of Mum to raise money for Rowcroft, who looked after her (as well as ourselves) so well in her final days.
Anyone could talk to Maureen. Maureen was a person who would bring a smile to your face when she walked into a room. She was genuine, selfless and kind hearted with a wicked perhaps slightly risqué sense of fun. People who knew Mo will remember her ‘Carry On’ and ‘Slocombesque’ innuendos.
Even in her last days Mo was very brave. She knew her end was approaching and yet she still thought of her family and how they would cope insisting that Rob and Chris made a list of things that needed to be sorted. A truly loving and selfless person.
Rowcroft Hospice cares for more than 2,000 people each year living with life-limiting illnesses across South Devon. I have entered 'The Male Trail', but my entry fee only covers the cost of delivering the event. In order for Rowcroft to continue to offer their care and support to the people who need it the most, I really need you to donate so that I can hit my target. Each pound really does make a difference, so please donate anything you can. I appreciate any and all help and I'll do my best to do you proud when taking on the 8-mile walk for the Male Trail on Saturday 16th March!
