Story
MacTavish Plumbing & Heating & MacTavish Bathrooms along with ASW Plastering and Macmaster Cleaning Company will be climbing Ben Nevis for Charity
We are all aware that life isn't and shouldn't be always focused on work. So, we have set ourselves a goal for the 8th of July to walk and summit Ben Nevis as a team with the main goal of raising money for two charities that are close to our hearts.
The first charity will be for The Leanne Fund for Cystic Fibrosis the reason we have chosen this charity is due to our Joiner Steven Ferguson daughter. Steven's daughter Niamh who is 7 years old has this condition. So, we as a team are in training to get fitter, healthier and do some good which is to raise money for this charity and its ongoing pursuits to help, support and make progress for the future of young people like Niamh. Steven Ferguson has chosen The Leanne Fund as his chosen charity.
The second charity is for Lochaber Hope who are a local charity and help the community in many different ways with local peoples mental and emotional health. This charity is run on the support and need from the local community.
We would be very grateful and appreciative for your donation which will go to very worthy causes. Summiting Ben Nevis is a tough goal and everyone on the team agreed when the "WHY WE ARE DOING IT" was explained.

Born out of the needs of local people, Lochaber Hope was formed in November 2005 recognising that there was no local service that was open to the whole community, regardless of any criteria or need.
Lochaber Hope is a person centred organisation, we believe that everyone has the ability within themselves to reach their own potential; staff and volunteers work and learn closely together to make this an attractive choice; a safe, inspiring, positive environment to allow people to safely explore strengths and barriers.
