Story
Hello and welcome to the Team Lusardi fund raising page for the British Heart Foundation London to Brighton 2012 charity bike ride.
Last year was solo, this year I’m joined by my 15 year old son Darryl and together we are going to be cycling the 54 miles from the grass of Clapham Common to the pebbles of Brighton beach for what is fast becoming an annual day trip to raise money for a fantastic charity the British Heart Foundation.
This will be Darryl’s first attempt at a ride like this, I recently upgraded my bike and I handed down my beloved Giant to him, he’s been out training for the last few weeks and he’s doing really well, he has slowly got in to road cycling over the past year which was probably caused by having to put up with me watching every tour on TV, dragging him to races and harping on about what bike or gear to buy, literally brain washed!!
Last year I managed to raise an amazing £555.00 and gained a Bronze Certificate for my efforts, if we were to raise anything near that this year it would be fantastic!
So I’m asking you to dig deep into your pockets and please sponsor us to help support a well worthy charity (The British Heart Foundation) and help save lives.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now!!!
