Story
On Sunday 16th June 2019 a team of cyclists working for or associated with the Whitstable Medical Practice will be undertaking the London to Brighton Bike Ride. We’ve all seen the Consequences of heart disease.
We're raising money for the British Heart Foundation's research. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people
lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures.
20 years ago Dr Lakshman (David) Kanagasooriam cycled as part of a team from the Whitstable Medical Practice taking part in
this event. This year we are cycling again in his memory.
The BHF report that £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps. Would you feel able to sponsor us?
