This year myself, Mel & Ruby, Gareth, & Aimee, Callum & Ellie, Steve & Vic & Lee are Team Jude's journey! I'm on support duties with Aimee & Ellie, but the rest are cycling along with 200 others from Taunton to Miskin in memory of baby Jude to raise funds & awareness for 2 wish upon a star, an amazing charity very close to our hearts, to help provide a family bereavement room in every A&E dept in Wales. We're going right out of our comfort zone to cycle the 120 miles so every penny we raise you can be assured the utmost effort has gone into each turn of those pedals!!
After losing our baby grandson Jude at only 4&1\2 months old to Meningitis B we turned to a local charity 2 wish upon a star for support & counselling, after receiving their treasured memory box helping us through the most devastating time a family can face. Their grandparent support group has been a huge help, & we realised the importance of those tiny hand & footprints in the box that we all take for granted that we'll see grow & outlive us.
