Story
Simon Luff will be taking on Trek 26 Stonehenge on the 2nd September. The challenge will see him hike 26 miles through beautiful countryside (with plenty of hills thrown in for good measure) surrounding Stonehenge, starting his journey at Wishford.
The primary motivation for this challenge – to raise as much sponsorship money for an extremely good cause, the Alzheimer’s Society’s ‘United Against Dementia’.
Please donate whatever sum of money you can spare – all donations, large or small, will make a difference.
The great work of the Alzheimer’s Society has become increasingly personal for several members of the company. In addition to the huge personal drivers, the team are also taking on the challenge for the physical, mental health and wellbeing benefits it’ll bring.
The Alzheimer's Society, a care and research charity for people with dementia and their carers, works to ensure that people living with dementia have the support they deserve, that their rights are protected and enhanced by campaigning, and that they can look to a brighter future thanks to investment in research.
Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
